Paradise Point: Woman arrested after alleged Range Rover ram-raid of Chempro Chemist on the Gold Coast

A man's been arrested after a dramatic ram raid attack on a Gold Coast chemist.

A woman has been arrested and a man is on the run after a shocking alleged break-and-enter of a business on the Gold Coast.

Police were called to Chempro Chemist in Paradise Point after receiving reports of a vehicle ram-raiding the store front early on Thursday morning.

“Initial information indicates around 1.30am, a man and a woman used a suspected stolen black Range Rover to damage the business on Grice Avenue and gain entry,” a QPS spokesperson said in a statement.

Sunrise reporter Liam Bland was at the scene on Thursday morning and said police arrived within three minutes.

“Officers (arrived), so quick, they stopped the would-be thief in his tracks, boxing the car in,” Mr Bland said.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested, alleged to be the alleged accomplice of a male driver.

The driver managed to flee the scene, however, police believe they know who the man is and plan to catch up with him promptly.
