A 50-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a seven-week-old baby.
The tragic incident began on Wednesday, July 24, when paramedics were called to a home in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, and an infant was transported to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital with critical injuries.

Police on Wednesday arrested a man from Parafield Gardens.
Authorities allege the man inflicted the injuries on the infant while in his care on the afternoon of July 24.
He has been charged with manslaughter and has been refused bail, with a court appearance scheduled on Wednesday in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.
