A music teacher who taught students at several private schools is accused of producing child abuse material and indecently recording a child.

A music teacher who taught at several private schools across Perth allegedly produced child abuse material and indecently recorded a child.
Police charged the 34-year-old man after they found child exploitation material on several of his electronic devices during a search of his home.
Detectives were investigating allegations the music teacher acted inappropriately towards children.

Detectives charged the man with three counts of producing child exploitation material and two counts of indecently recording a child over 13 and under 16.
He is due to face the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Thursday.
