A young boy has died in hospital on Thursday after he was allegedly shot in the face and neck at a home days earlier.
A young boy has died in hospital on Thursday after he was allegedly shot in the face and neck at a home in Sydney’s north-west days earlier.
The 11-year-boy was located by officers who were called to a property on Fairway Drive in Norwest on September 21, after reports of a shooting just after 5pm.
The child sustained gunshot wounds to his face and neck and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

Sadly, the child died from his injuries in hospital on Thursday evening.
Three 18-year-old men were arrested at the scene of the alleged shooting, and two were later released.
The third was taken to Riverstone Police station and charged with conceal (serious indictable offence).
NSW Police say he is currently before the courts.
