Strikeforce Raptor capture nearly $1 million worth of substances and bring down Sydney drug kingpins

Some of Sydney’s biggest street dealers have been busted with a huge haul of substances as strikeforce raptor continues its attack on drug traffickers in the harbour city.

After months of investigations, police enforced a warrant at a property in Dulwich Hill before securing a vast array of illegal substances worth a small fortune on the street.

Raptor squad officers arrested and charged a 38-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman for their alleged roles in the mass street supply of drugs in Sydney’s inner west following the bust on Tuesday morning.

In March 2024, officers attached to the state crime command’s raptor squad established strike force kimian to investigate the organised street supply and sale of cocaine and other prohibited drugs in Sydney.

During the arrests the police located over half a kilo of cocaine – contained in multiple vacuum-sealed bags – with an estimated street value of over $200,000.

Following the arrests, strike force officers executed multiple search warrants at homes in Dulwich Hill and Erskineville and a storage facility at Waterloo.

During those searches officers located and seized 1.2kg of MDMA, 5.1kg of THC gummies, 400 LSD tablets, 1kg of psilocybin and 1.6kg of cannabis.

The estimated combined street value of the additional drugs seized is estimated to be $650,000.

The 38-year-old man was charged with seven counts of supplying prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of supplying prohibited drug commercial quantity, three counts of supplying prohibited drug large commercial quantity, supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, participating in criminal group contributing criminal group and supplying cannabis indictable quantity.

The 24-year-old man was charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of possessing a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug commercial quantity and participating criminal group contributing to criminal activity.

The 37-year-old woman was charged with four counts of supplying prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of supplying prohibited drug commercial quantity, three counts of supplying prohibited drug large commercial quantity supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, participation ng criminal group contributing criminal activity, owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises and supply cannabis indictable quantity.

All three were refused bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

Police said in a statement that they will allege this group is one of the largest street suppliers of cocaine and other prohibited drugs operating in Sydney’s inner west.

Investigations under Strike Force Kimian continue.
