Adult and child found dead in Kenmore Hills home as police declare crime scene
A crime scene has been declared after an adult and a child were found dead at a residence.
A welfare check was conducted at the property in Kenmore Hills, Brisbane, shortly before 12.45pm on Monday.

Authorities are treating the deaths as a suspected murder-suicide and say they are not looking for any other suspects at this stage.
Investigations are currently underway as authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths, with a number of officers and forensic teams on site.
The crime scene is expected to remain in place for several more hours, well into the night, police confirmed.



Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
