Body found in water at Beaver Rock during search for missing fisherman Darryn Kimlin in Maryborough
A body has been found in the search for a missing fisherman north of Brisbane.
Darryn Kimlin, 42, was reported missing on Sunday when he did not return from an overnight solo fishing trip.
Friends who saw Kimlin set off in his boat from Lamington Bridge Boat Ramp in Maryborough about 10am on Saturday told police they expected him to return about midday on Sunday.

Family said they spoke with him about 8.40pm on Saturday, when he said he was fishing in the river mouth at Beaver Rock — about 25 minutes away from where he set off.
PolAir and Marine Rescue Queensland joined in the search on Monday, locating Kimlin’s 5m fibreglass half-cabin boat named Tamarumma.
The search continued into the night before being called off when darkness fell.
Police were called about 6.15am on Tuesday when a member of the public found a man’s body in the water in the general search area.
“Forensic examinations are underway to formally identify the man,” police said.
“Investigations into the circumstances of the man’s death are ongoing, however the death is being treated as non-suspicious at this stage.”
