Multiple passengers are fighting for life after a bus rolled on a busy Queensland Highway.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the serious crash on Bruce Highway at Gumlu in the Whitsundays region at 4pm on Thursday.
The Bruce Highway is closed in both directions and motorists have been urged to avoid the area, or expect long delays.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.A spokesperson for Queensland Ambulance Service said 29 passengers were aboard the bus as it travelled on the highway in a remote area of the north-east coast.
Seven passengers have been taken to Ayr Hospital, four of those with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Four others have been transferred to Bowen Hospital and 13 passengers were still on the scene. Two of those passengers are believed to have life threatening injuries.
Ten ambulance crews and two rescue helicopters are on site and a fixed wing RFDS plane has also been dispatched to the area.
