Bundaberg: Fundraiser launched for family of missing three-year-old Daniel found dead in car

The grieving family of a three-year-old boy found dead in a car after being reported missing has appealed for public help to fund his funeral.
Little Daniel went missing from his home in Thabeban, in Bundaberg about 3.30pm on Tuesday, with a huge search joined by police, family, neighbours, and State Emergency Services volunteers launched to find him.
Tragically, at 9.25pm their worst fears were confirmed when he was found just metres from where he went missing, in a car in the backyard of the property.

Daniel’s mother, Jamaica Rowe, returned home after the boy was found to be told the devastating news, with friends and family comforting her as she broke down.
Daniel’s aunt paid tribute to the “beautiful bright souled boy”, telling the Courier Mail that he “loved being outside on his trampoline and his swings”.
She said he loved stargazing from the trampoline at nighttime.
“Especially the moon because it’s usually the brightest light in the sky”.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by relative Nigel Rowe to help cover the boy’s funeral and memorial costs.
“With heavy hearts, we are asking for support for our sister **Jamaica** and our family after the heartbreaking loss of her precious 3-year-old son,” a statement from Mr Rowe reads.
“There are no words that can truly describe the pain of losing a child.
“Jamaica has lost her beautiful little boy far too soon, and our family is devastated. During this incredibly difficult time, we want to come together as family, friends, and community to help ease some of the burden she is facing.
He concluded, “Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this heartbreaking time.”
Police say Daniel’s death is not suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
