The desperate search for a missing Queensland mum enters its 13th day, as new footage surfaces from the moments before she disappeared.

A car belonging to missing Queensland mother Tayla Spies has been discovered on a rural property but there is still no sign of her.

Spies was last seen leaving a hotel room about 8am and heading to her car — a white 2017 dual cab Toyota Hilux.

The Hilux was last seen via CCTV driving through the intersection of Burrowes St and Cordelia St in Surat at 11.10am.

Now the car has been located in Noorindoo, about 40km northeast of Surat.

“An initial search of the surrounding area has failed to locate Tayla,” Queensland Police said on Friday.

“Search efforts are expected to continue this morning.”

Spies’ family have grown “very concerned” for her welfare, Queensland Police Detective Inspector Garry Watts said.

“If anyone of my friends have seen my sister or heard from her in the past week, please get in touch with the Roma Police or myself,’ her sister Rebecca wrote on social media in February.

“Or even if you see a Toyota Hilux that matches this description around the area.

“Every little bit of information will help us.”

In February, Watts spoke about the scale of the search and said her mobile phone data had helped them hone in on an area east of Surat.

Spies had previously disappeared for a couple of days but never for this long, he added.

The telco data has been unable to narrow down a small search area for police, with Watts saying investigators were looking at an area about 5000 square kilometres wide.

“It’s a big area,” Watts said.

“(It’s) south of Yuleba, Glenmorgan, Meandarra, those sorts of areas in outback Queensland.”

Spies is described as Caucasian, with brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She has a slim build and is approximately 170cm tall.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
