Jetstar incident: Four crew hospitalised after being overcome by fumes on plane to Cairns
Four crew members have been hospitalised in Cairns after becoming overcome by fumes aboard a Jetstar flight.
A Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed paramedics treated the women on Thursday morning just after 9.30am.
They were suffering symptoms including nausea and headaches before they were transported to hospital. It is understood one of the women felt faint and had to be supported by another crew member to stop her from falling.

The jet had flown to Cairns from the Gold Coast, a trip that takes about an hour and a half.
Jetstar confirmed the incident in a written statement.
“Four of our cabin crew reported an unusual smell and started feeling unwell after the flight,” it read.
“The four crew members were assessed by paramedics and taken to hospital for observation.
“There were no passenger reports of the smell and the aircraft landed normally in Cairns.
“The aircraft will be thoroughly checked by our engineers.”
