The search for an Aussie Instagram influencer who went missing a month ago has come to a tragic end.

Popular graphic designer and Queensland dad Joel Pringle has been found dead four weeks after he vanished from the Lagoon in Airlie Beach on August 19.

His disappearance prompted a huge search, with locals helping his family and authorities to search the region.

His devastated partner Eve Houghton confirmed the tragic news on a Facebook page dedicated to finding Mr Pringle.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Joel was found late yesterday evening. Unfortunately he has passed,” Ms Houghton said on September 18.

“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has come together in the search for Joel – family, friends, and the many people who traveled from far and wide to help.

“We are incredibly thankful to the police, water police, SES, and local businesses that displayed flyers and posters.

“To everyone who offered their support and kindness — your love and care will forever be treasured by Joel’s family and close friends.”

Mr Pringle — originally from Melbourne — had a following of more than 40,000 and was known for his trendy logo designs.

His death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
