Logan Hospital lockdown over as Queensland Police say reports of man armed with gun ‘a misunderstanding’
Queensland Police say a hospital lockdown is over after reports a man with a gun was inside turned out to be “a misunderstanding”.
A spokesperson said police officers were called to Logan Hospital at 11.20am.
“As a precaution, access to the hospital was restricted and members of the public were asked to avoid the area if possible,” the spokesperson said.

“Officers have spoken with the man and there will be no further action taken by police.”
The lockdown has now been lifted.
A spokesperson told The Nightly the initial report had been “a misunderstanding”.
No one was injured during the incident and no charges have been laid.
