“Timely reminder to ride within your limits, enjoy the roads and don’t treat them as a race track,” the post reads.

“Just keep in mind the people in your life who will miss you.”

The dashcam footage shows the rider crossing into the opposite lane while failing to properly negotiate a bend, coming within centimetres of the trio of oncoming riders who quickly move to avoid collision.

The errant rider dangles their left leg out in an apparent bid to regain control of the bike and move back into the correct lane.

According to the post, the rider had earlier overtaken other vehicles “in a downhill section”.

“(The) rider pushed it too hard and ran out of talent nearly causing a horrendous accident,” the post read.

“Notice the roadside memorial for another rider who didn’t get away with the same manoeuvre a few years back.”

Comments on the post were also scathing of the rider’s actions.

“Bloody idiot could have killed three innocent riders and himself,” read one.

Another said: “What an idiot, so close to multiple pile-up.”
