“We’re not just specifically focused on that area — there are other areas that are forming part of this investigation that we are interested in as well,” Detective Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson told the ABC on Wednesday.

Police confirmed in a statement that physical searches will continue as needed as information is provided.

The greater Gin Gin area remains the focus of the investigation.

The 17-year-old went missing on May 15 from Bundaberg, 350km north of Brisbane.

She had been living with two housemates prior to he disappearance. Police believe the pair drove Pheobe to the airport on May 15, in a grey Hyundai, where she was meant to board her flight at 8.30am.

However, analysis of CCTV at the airport show she never made it.

Police continue to appeal to anyone with information, vision or sightings of a grey Hyundai ix35 between May 15 to 18 in the greater Gin Gin area to contact Crime Stoppers.
