Driver killed and four passengers injured after a car rolled onto its roof near Bogogin

A car left the road and rolled killing the driver and injuring the other four passengers inside.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash at Bonogin in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Initial investigations indicate a Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling eastbound on Bonogin Road around 12.45am, when it left the road and rolled onto its roof.

Five men, all aged in their 20s, were inside the vehicle at the time.

The driver, a 21-year-old Mudgeeraba man, died at the scene.

The four passengers were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information that can assist police with their investigations, is urged to come forward.
