Two teenage boys have been charged after a baby girl allegedly suffered eye injuries in a fire extinguisher attack.

The five-month-old was strapped into the back seat of a car driven by her father when it stopped at traffic lights on High St in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday 15 June.

Two teenage e-scooter riders allegedly pulled up beside the vehicle and sprayed a fire extinguisher through an open window about 7.45pm, covering the whole car in white smoke and powder, including the baby.
