A woman has been mauled in a dog attack, sustaining serious injuries to her arm and hand.

Ambulances were called to a private property in Burpengary north of Brisbane at 6.48am.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, has been taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, in a serious condition.
