A four-year-old boy and a man have died following a two-car crash in Brisbane’s south.

A blue Holden Commodore and red Mitsubishi Lancer were travelling on Rickertt Rd in Ransome when they collided at the intersection with Chelsea Road just before 9am on Sunday.

Paramedics treated the boy, who was a passenger in the Holden, for life-threatening injuries before rushing him to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition. He has since died.
