Ramsgate, NSW: Parents located after two-year-old toddler found alone on road
Police have provided a major update after a two-year-old boy was discovered alone on a Sydney street in the early hours.
The parents of a toddler found alone on a road in Sydney’s south in the early hours of Tuesday morning have been located after an urgent police appeal.
Police confirmed on Tuesday morning the parents of the young boy, who was discovered by himself on MacDonald Street in Ramsgate about 2.10am, had been found.
“Police would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal,” NSW Police said.

Officers from St George Police Area Command had earlier launched an urgent search for the boy’s family after he was found alone on the road.
Police searched the surrounding streets and area but were initially unable to locate his parents or carers, prompting a public appeal for information.
The toddler, believed to be about two years old, was described as being of Caucasian appearance and of small build.
He was estimated to be between 100cm and 120cm tall and was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants when he was found.
Police have not provided further details about how the child came to be alone or where his parents were located.
