Ronald Cora: Rapper known as MC Triks charged with domestic violence murder after woman, 27, found dead
A Queensland rapper has been charged with murder after his ex-partner was found dead inside his home.
A Brisbane rapper has been charged with murdering his 27-year-old ex-partner who was found dead inside a Queensland home.
Slacks Creek rapper Ronald Cora, 37, also known as MC Triks, was arrested and later charged with murder (domestic violence).
The Woody Point woman was found unresponsive in a bedroom at the back of a home on Rowanda St, Slacks Creek shortly before 12.30am on Wednesday.

Police believe the woman died by asphyxiation.
It’s understood Mr Cora was the person to call emergency services on Wednesday morning.
Detective Inspector Ian Galpin said police believed the pair were previously in a relationship, but had separated some time before the woman’s alleged murder.
He said investigations were under way as to how the woman came to be at Mr Cora’s address, but the two did not live together at the home prior to their break-up.
It is not known how long the pair had been in a relationship or when they broke up.
Inspector Galpin said it was believed no children were involved and no one else was located at the residence.
Mr Cora is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The rapper is known for performing around Brisbane and Logan areas.
He also performed under the name Intrikit Wayz.
He once appeared in a promotional video for the Queensland State Library in 2017 talking about his time at the Australian Company of Performing Arts and his work with youth artists.
He has previously featured in special programming for Brisbane radio station 4ZZZ and local hip-hop festival Underground Fest.
Police urged anyone with information about the matter to contact them.
“There is no ongoing threat to the community,” a police statement read.
Inspector Galpin said police were dedicated to preventing domestic violence in the community.
“Any life that is lost because of domestic and family violence has an obvious and devastating impact on family and friends but also on the wider community,” he said.
It’s something that the QPS, our partner agencies and our support agency – we come to work every day to try and prevent this exact thing … we all feel it.”

Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Alliance chief executive Melanie Arnost said domestic violence deaths were the “tip of the iceberg” in Australia’s domestic violence problem.
“Another tragedy is rocking our community,” she said.
“The state of violence in Queensland and Australia that impacts people at home, it’s such a huge issue and we really need to be doing more at home.
“We can try everything we can … but at the end of the day, this is an issue that goes much, much deeper.”
Ms Arnost said more funding for frontline services and intervention and prevention programs was needed to “change the narrative” in Australia.
“We need extra investment to keep women and children safe and make sure everyone across Queensland has a happy and healthy relationship and can live happily and safely in their home,” Ms Arnost said.
