Axe rampage mum of seven pleads guilty to new assault charges

A mother from Adelaide’s northern suburbs has pleaded guilty to multiple assault charges, including against emergency workers.
Kimberley Vera Hudson, 35 appeared in the District Court of South Australia on Monday where she pleaded guilty to multiple counts of assault and theft, stemming from an incident on March 3, 2024.
The court heard the Dudley Park mother plead guilty to some assault charges related to emergency workers, including one where she used or threatened to use a glass breaker as a weapon.

Hudson made headlines in 2023 after swinging an axe at emergency services officers who came to her rescue after she rolled her car in Goodwood, later claiming her drink had been spiked.
She will reappear in court next month for sentencing.
