Teenage boy shot in leg in bullet-riddled Kilburn home

A teenage boy is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the leg in Adelaide’s north overnight.

Police were called to the Kilburn property after reports of multiple gunshots shortly after 2.10am on Wednesday.

Officers found the boy with a single gunshot wound to his leg and a number of bullet holes at the home.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigations and hope to speak to the victim further.

The incident is not believed to be a random attack, police said.
