Victim of Elizabeth shopping centre stabbing details how he disarmed alleged attacker
An 18-year-old man seriously injured when he was allegedly stabbed during an altercation at Elizabeth shopping centre in Adelaide’s north has been identified.
Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, have been charged with assault and affray, while a third teen aged 14 was charged with affray over the incident on Wednesday afternoon.
Ned*, 18, was rushed to hospital after being allegedly set upon by the group while ordering food.

Ned stressed he was not carrying a knife.
“I managed to disarm him and kick the first knife out of his hand,” he alleged of the attack.
“When I fell back, I went to lunge and grab the knife that I knocked out of his hand.
“I see him reaching behind his back and that’s when he unsheathed the second knife.”
His older brother, Moey, called the attack “extremely disgusting”.
He said Ned had nothing to do with the other teenagers.
He urged other young people not to aspire to be “gangsters”.
“Later you’re going to grow up and find you’re not a gangster that you think you are, you want to get a job, you want to do this, but you’re going to have a record under your name,” he said.
All three teenagers were remanded in custody and appeared in the youth court on Thursday.
The 14-year-old was released on bail.
The court heard he was previously investigated for possessing child exploitation material.
He will be allowed to return to school three days a week and cannot leave home at night.
