A high school in Sydney’s northwest was evacuated on Friday morning due to a police operation.

Emergency services attended the school on Castle St at Castle Hill.

“The school has been evacuated as a precaution,” NSW Police said.

The Hills Police Area Command said in an update there was no risk to students.

“Hills police are on scene and everything is in hand,” it said.

It’s understood a bomb threat via a phone call sparked the emergency response.
