Theft-accused teens get bogged after KFC stop in allegedly stolen car
The driver had allegedly just placed an order when officers descended on the BMW.
Police moved in on an allegedly stolen car in a KFC drive-thru on Saturday night.
The driver had just placed his order when the police units descended on the car at the fast food restaurant on the corner of Main Rd and the Princess Hwy at Werribee, southwest of Melbourne, about 11pm.
“The BMW reversed out of the drive-thru and then drove into an adjacent bush area,” Victoria Police said.

Police arrested three teen boys shortly after.
The 16-year-old driver and two 14-year-old passengers were all from the Wyndham area.
Police allege they followed the blue BMW, stolen on Saturday morning, after spotting it speeding 50kmph over the limit on Armstong Rd in Mambourin.
“Officers held back to observe a passenger being dropped off at Wyndham Railway Station,” Victoria Police said.
As police followed the BMW to the Werribee KFC, another police crew arrested the 13-year-old boy from the Greater Geelong area who was allegedly dropped off at the train station.
All four teens are now being interviewed by police.
“Investigators allege the vehicle was stolen from a Quinn Gr address in Keior East,” Victoria Police said.
Investigations are ongoing.
