She left home without any bags, keys, clothes or her wallet and did not own a mobile phone.

Her body was found by police in River Gum Creek Reserve, not far from her home, about 9.55am on Friday.

Officers were conducting a line search at the time in relation to her disappearance.

It is unclear if McKenzie’s death is suspicious or not, with a post-mortem examination to determine her cause of death.

Police were seen door-knocking homes near the park, with officers taping off the area where the body was found.

“Investigations remain ongoing,” Victoria Police said.
