Elderly Melbourne couple found 170kms from Melbourne after vanishing from nursing home
The pair were last seen on Saturday, sparking a desperate search. There has now been a heartwarming development.

An elderly Melbourne couple have been found safe about 200kms from where they live after vanishing from a busy shopping centre.
Colin and Claudette from Wheelers Hill disappeared on Saturday in their white Mazda 2 after leaving their aged care facility about 11.15am.
They then travelled to a shopping centre in Glen Waverley and had not been seen since.

Family and police held serious concerns for their welfare, with both needing daily medication and likely to become confused or disoriented.
On Sunday night, police confirmed the couple had been located safe and well about 170kms from Melbourne and thanked everyone for their help.
They were found in the town of Maryborough, which is 58kms north of Ballarat.
