Lalor, Melbourne: Missing teenage brothers found safe after Victorian police launched urgent search

Two brothers who vanished from their home have been found safe and well after an urgent police search.

Police are currently searching for 13-year-old Walled and 18-year-old Loay.

Two brothers who went missing from their Melbourne home have been found safe and well.

Thirteen-year-old Waleed and 18-year-old Loay were last seen near their home in Lalor, in Melbourne’s north, about 1pm on Sunday.

Victoria Police confirmed on Monday that the pair have since been located and are safe.

“The teens have been located safe and well. No suspicious circumstances,” a police spokesperson said.

The brothers’ disappearance had sparked an urgent search, with police earlier appealing for public assistance to help locate them.

Authorities have thanked the public for their help in sharing information.
