Victoria Police said emergency crews raced to Western Highway, near Mount Drummond Road in Ledcourt after reports a truck and two cars collided about 6.45pm on Sunday.
Once at the scene, first responders found two people in a MG SZ who sadly died. They are yet to be formally identified.

Two of his passengers, females aged 11 and 14 were also airlifted to hospital. Tragically, the 14-year-old died in hospital, the force confirmed.
A third passenger in the Mitsubishi, a 43-year-old woman, escaped the fatal crash uninjured.
A 29-year-old driver of the truck was also uninjured.
“Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision,” Victoria Police said in a statement provided to The Nightly.
