Man dies, woman flown to hospital after falling tree traps them in car in Gellibrand, in Victoria’s Otway Ranges
A male driver has been killed and his female passenger critically injured when a tree fell on their car in Gellibrand, 175km southwest of Melbourne.
They were both trapped inside the car for more than an hour after the tree fell on Main Rd, near Berrys Rd, about 1.30pm on Wednesday.
The driver died at the scene while the passenger was flown to hospital.
