Teens charged after man stabbed to death at Lyndhurst in Melbourne

Four teenagers have now been charged with murder after a man died in hospital following a fight in suburban Melbourne.
A group of men were seen fighting near Society Ave, in Lyndhurst’s south, about 8.30pm on Friday, March 21.
Timothy Leek, 24, from Clyde was found by Victoria Police with serious stab wounds.

The other people involved in the fight had fled the scene by the time emergency services arrived.
Two 18-year-olds were arrested on Wednesday morning at a hotel in Box Hill, followed by the arrest of a 17-year-old in the Dandenong area.
“All three were interviewed by police and have subsequently been charged with murder and armed robbery,” Victoria Police said.
The two 18-year-olds were scheduled to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, while the younger teen will appear before a children’s court at a later date.
The three teens arrested on Wednesday have also been charged with armed robbery.
Another 18-year-old was previously charged with murder on March 22.
He was remanded and will remain in custody until a court appearance on July 28.
Police believe the men were all known to each other.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact police.
