“Paramedics were called to an incident in Toorak around 11.20am (Friday),” Ambulance Victoria told 7NEWS.com.au.

“A teenage boy with upper and lower body injuries was transported by road ambulance to The Royal Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.”

The middle school student’s parents have been contacted and counsellors have been organised to support those at the Heyington campus who need it.

“An ambulance was called immediately and the student was transported to hospital,” a school spokesperson said.

“At this stage he is with his family and well supported by medical professionals.”

The college said it is working with authorities probing the incident, with three levels of the school cordoned off.
