Wendouree: Major crash investigation after motorbike rider killed in collision with ute in Victoria

Police have launched a major crash investigation after a motorbike rider was killed in a horror crash in rural Victoria.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the fatal collision in Wendouree on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to Creswick Road after a ute and motorbike collided at about 6am.

The rider, a 50-year-old Brown Hill man, died at the scene.

The driver of the ute, a 38-year-old Miners Rest man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the collision.
