Beloved landscaper Kaine Fisher remembered after death in Carramar crash
Family say the 22-year-old was the ‘truest definition of selfless’.

A beloved landscaper who died after being struck by a car as he worked in a family friend’s front garden has been remembered as the “truest definition of selfless — always giving, always helping and always thinking of others”.
Kaine Fisher, 22, was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with critical injuries on September 21 but sadly could not be saved.
Family took to his landscaping and gardening business’ social media page to share the heartbreaking news.

“Kaine was just 22 years old, living his best life, building his own landscaping business and, in true Kaine fashion, doing life entirely his own way.
“He was the truest definition of selfless — always giving, always helping and always thinking of others. He took an immense pride in his work and in helping others.”
‘Your legacy will forever be remembered’
Fisher’s family said they are working through an “incredibly difficult time” and making arrangements for his funeral.
One former client said Fisher had set up her irrigation after she spent years searching for someone to do the job.
“He did it in the peak of summer — it was incredible really and (I) will never forget it,” the former customer said
“It seems like yesterday he was out front chatting away to me while he worked and we rescued a baby bunny that fell in one of the retic trenches, which was really special.
“I will go into town tomorrow and get a tree to plant in his honour seeing as he has essentially saved so many trees on my property because of the hard work he did.”
Another person responding to the post said Fisher was her son’s best friend.
“He also was a big brother to my youngest son. He even came to help us to check out my youngest’s first car before we bought it as my oldest son was working away,” she said.
“When I was thanking him for being there for my boys, he just laughed and said ‘they are my brothers’.
“You were taken from us too soon, Kaine, but you will forever be in our hearts.
“Your legacy will forever be remembered.”

The Warwick Greenwood Bulls Amateur Football Club said Fisher was a “genuine spirit around the club”.
“Despite only playing one game before injuring himself and being unable to continue, he still showed up and helped wherever he could,” the club said.
“Many games he’d arrive straight from work — or in between jobs — still in his boots, and jump straight into a support role running water or messages.
“Kaine will be remembered fondly by all of us.”
Peter Moyes Anglican Community School said Fisher — a member of its class of 2022 — “was the kind of person who made others feel seen, valued and welcome”.
“His quiet strength and empathy left a lasting impact on many lives,” the school said.
“A proud leader of Durack House during his middle years, Kaine approached leadership with humility, integrity and a genuine desire to serve others.
“While our hearts are heavy as we farewell Kaine, they are also full of gratitude. We are thankful for the privilege of having shared in his educational journey and for the immeasurable contribution he made to our community.”
MDT Mini Diggers and Tippers said Fisher was “one of the good guys” who was always first to offer help.
“Kaine’s parents can hold their heads high for raising such an incredible, giving young man,” the business said.
A GoFundMe was launched to help his family with funeral costs, with a service for Fisher to be held on Wednesday.
“Kaine was loved by everyone, he didn’t have a bad bone in his body,” fundraiser organiser Ben Brown said.
“He was always there for anyone who needed a hand or needed some advice.
“Words can’t describe how much he meant to us all and I don’t think even Kaine knew the impact he had on us.”

Major Crash investigators said a white Toyota Corolla hatchback was being driven along Tranquil Dr in Carramar, in Perth’s north, just before 2pm on September 21 when it collided with a pedestrian.
Fisher suffered critical injuries and despite being taken to hospital could not be saved.
Family told the West Australian Fisher was tending a family friend’s front garden and verge and was not on the road when he was hit.
The 74-year-old male driver is assisting police.
Inquiries are ongoing, police said on Monday, and no charges have been laid.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
