A former West Coast Eagles player has been charged after police allegedly discovered child exploitation material on his phone.
Laurie Bellotti, 50, has been remanded at Hakea Prison on child exploitation charges after police allegedly found four photos on his phone of child nudity while he was being arrested for a separate alleged incident, News 24 reported.
He was arrested in July in connection to a burglary in Innaloo and faced Perth Magistrates Court last Tuesday charged with intent to commit an offence and breaching a restraining order.

Bellotti was remanded in custody to next appear in Perth Magistrates Court in January.
He also pleaded guilty to eight charges in Mandurah Magistrates Court including breaching a family violence restraining order. In the same court, he pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated stalking and using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.
Bellotti played 24 games for West Coast Eagles across two seasons after being taken by West Coast in the 1998 rookie draft, which also netted the club 2006 premiership star Chad Fletcher.
