The lucky WA owner of a winning Saturday Lotto ticket is still to come forward to claim their whopping prize.

Across the country, two tickets matched the numbers to the jackpot, each winning $2.51 million. The other winner was in New South Wales.

The WA ticket was sold at Mundaring Lotto and Gifts — the store’s second division one win in just two weeks.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said the WA winners tally was now up to 59, with players sharing in prizes totalling more than $112 million.

“If you bought a Saturday Lotto ticket in Mundaring recently, make sure to check it as soon as you can,” she said. “Along with this player, we’re also waiting to hear from the ticketholder who won $1.28 million in last weekend’s draw.” Gareth Murgatroyd, of Mundaring Lotto and Gifts, said the shop was excited about celebrating two Saturday Lotto wins in just two weeks. “It creates a real buzz around town when we get a division one win — and two in two weeks is just fantastic,” he said. “It makes it really exciting for all our customers.”

Across WA in Saturday’s draw, nine players won division two prizes worth more than $12,000 each. Lotterywest supports community groups across WA through grants, with all available profits from ticket sales going back into the community. A $15,000 grant was recently given to Superfins WA, which hosts events to provide social and recreational opportunities for people with a disability.
