Ashy Bines closes popular activewear brand Baseline
Influencer Ashy Bines has announced the closure of her activewear brand, Baseline.
The closure “is the right choice for my health, wellbeing and next chapter”, Bines said on Instagram.
The 35-year-old launched the business in 2020, and its closure comes just weeks before she undergoes surgery.

Bines thanked everyone who had supported the business.
“It’s never got old walking into a gym, going for a walk or being at the park and seeing other women wear my brand,” she said.
“Thank you for making this dream come true and being a part of it.
“We have sent out over 500,000 orders of activewear, which is insane and something I’m so proud of.”
Bines was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm earlier this year, which made her “reevaluate everything”.
“It’s been such a ride this past few months,” she said. “I’m so grateful as I’ve learned so much about myself, about business, what I enjoy, my strengths and weaknesses and overall what I value in my life.
“These last few months especially have taught me what I want more and less of, and when it’s time to let go and step into my next season.
“This was definitely a hard decision but also a really easy one, when you know what you value you have to honour that and go in the direction that is right for you.”
Bines’ announcement was met with an outpouring of support.
“Wishing you all the best Ashy with your health,” one person said. “It always comes first!”
“I will miss the best quality activewear I have brought from you, and I have brought many different brands over the years.
“Hopefully one day you might make a comeback, and I will be waiting patiently for when and if you do!”
Another customer said they were “devastated“ by the news but understood the decision.
“I’ve been buying Baseline since 2021 and I absolutely love it so much ... but you have to do what’s best for you,” the customer said.
“Take care and enjoy your next chapter ... all the best in your health journey.”
“This is so sad but I know this is right for you,” another person commented.
All Baseline items are now on clearance.
