American jet ski instructor Sam Anderson goes viral over Jacob Elordi resemblance, dubbed ‘Jacob Affordi’
If you can’t afford to hang out with Aussie hunk Jacob Elordi, the internet’s new boyfriend might be more attainable.
The internet has fallen in love with an American jet ski instructor who bears an uncanny resemblance to Aussie heartthrob Jacob Elordi.
Sam Anderson works as a guide at Tybee Island Watersports on Georgia’s coast, and has been affectionately dubbed “Jacob Affordi” by social media users claiming he’s the Euphoria actor’s “doppleganger”.
A regular feature in the company’s online content, Mr Anderson has become a fan favourite as a result of his Baywatch-like re-enactments and willingness to embrace the hilarious comparisons.

Accompanied by an 80s-style rock soundtrack, a slow motion filter depicts the jet ski guide grabbing his radio, stepping out of the staff room while donning a life vest, and jumping on a jet ski before beckoning customers to follow him.
“POV: someone asks if our jet ski rentals are guided”, the clip is captioned.
Inspired by Mr Anderson’s jawline and his penchant for water sports, a raft of nicknames quickly emerged.
“Jacob Allaboardi 👏🏼,” one person wrote.
“Is that Jetski Elordi???” another said.
One person teased: “Pretty sure falling in love with jet ski guys on a family vacation is a teenager right of passage”.
However, the moniker that caught the employee’s attention was the suggestion he was a budget version of the film star, labelled “Jacob Affordi”.
In a video response, Mr Anderson’s colleague is seen waving a dollar bill mockingly above him, with the charismatic employee snatching it and shaking his head.
“These guys keep showing up on my feed and now I feel like I’m a part of this. I don’t even live in Georgia,” one user responded.
“He’s the only Jacob we can Affordi 😭,” another chimed in.
In a compliment to the staff member, one user suggested he “actually looks better” than the Queenslander.
In a recent development, it appears Mr Anderson has just begun to dip his toes in the modelling world.
Sharing a few shots from a recent shoot, he could be seen posing by the beach for a local photographer while showcasing his signature smile and tanned physique.
