Brooklyn Beckham reposts seawater pasta video as fans question if he is trolling
Brooklyn Beckham appears to have discovered the easiest way to enrage the internet: pasta.
Brooklyn Beckham has found himself back in the firing line after reposting a bizarre cooking video in which he appeared to use seawater to boil pasta.
The 27-year-old shared the year-old clip on TikTok last week, reigniting the same online backlash that followed when the video first surfaced in July 2025.
In the video, Beckham says he is making tomato pasta before heading to the back of a luxury yacht and scooping water directly from the ocean into a large cooking pot.

Beckham prepares a tomato sauce separately, adding chopped tomatoes to an oiled pan before covering it with his Cloud23 hot sauce.
While the finished dish may have looked relatively ordinary, it was the apparent use of seawater that quickly became the focus of online commentary.
The video was reposted with a tag for Beckham’s hot sauce brand, prompting viewers to question whether the unusual cooking method was genuine or simply designed to provoke a reaction.
“Today I’m gonna make a fool of myself on the internet again,” one person commented.
Another wrote: “There’s no way this is serious,” while a third suggested Beckham was “just rage baiting at this point”.
Others seemed to have taken the video seriously for some reason and questioned whether using water directly from the ocean to cook food was safe.
“Gross. Takes sea water from the engine where oil and chemicals leak thru. Boiling seawater doesn’t kill chemical pollutants, heavy metals, and all toxins,” a Tik Tok user wrote.
“Today I’m gonna make a fool of myself on the internet again,” another said.
“As (an Italian), I’m pretty sure that sea water is the best way to spent all the next day in the bathroom,” a third wrote.
The renewed reaction comes more than a year after the original video sparked a similar response online, and unless Beckham didn’t see the reaction, he appears to be 100 per cent loving firing people up.
Beckham began documenting his attempts at cooking online in 2021 through his Facebook series Cookin’ With Brooklyn. Although the series ended the following year, he has continued to post cooking content across social media.
Beckham has also been at the centre of intense public scrutiny in recent months amid an ongoing family feud involving his parents, former footballer David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.
He has publicly accused his parents of attempting to undermine his marriage and putting their public image ahead of family relationships.
David and Victoria Beckham have not directly responded to the allegations.
