Celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver have made many a dig at each other over the years.

But a rare admission by Ramsay suggests defeat... as he revealed that his own wife uses Oliver’s books for family meals.

The Michelin-starred chef, 57, was speaking on the podcast Dish, hosted by fellow chef Angela Hartnett, who is a close friend of his wife Tana.

Ms Hartnett, 55, said Mrs Ramsay is “always so relaxed” when she goes to dinner at her house, and she “cooks something everyone wants to eat, like a great lasagne or a brilliant shepherd’s pie”.

Gordon, host of TV show Kitchen Nightmares, cuts in: “Yeah and they’re all Jamie Oliver recipes. Do you have any idea how hard that is for me?”

The feud began in 2009 when Oliver, 49, criticised Ramsay for comparing a journalist to a pig.

Ramsay apologised to the woman but said the Naked Chef was a “one-pot wonder”.

Oliver then mocked his rival for “having Botox”.

However, in 2019, Ramsay said Oliver was “a great chef”, revealing the families had holidayed together.
