Cruz Beckham is hoping for a reconciliation with his estranged brother Brooklyn.

Brooklyn, 27, has fallen out with his famous parents - David and Victoria Beckham - with the aspiring chef slamming the couple in a devastating social media post in which he accused them of ruining his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022.

The family feud has also led to a rift with his brothers Cruz, 21, and Romeo, 23, and sister Harper, 14.

However, Cruz says he’s open to making up with his elder brother. In video footage published by TMZ.com, Cruz was asked if he had any well wishes for Brooklyn, who turned 27 on March 4. He replied: “Happy birthday”.

When asked if the brothers will be able to repair their relationship, Cruz replied: “I hope so”.

It comes after Cruz seemingly broke his brother’s request for no social media contact with his family by sharing a birthday message on Instagram, posting a throwback snap and writing: “I love you”.

David and Victoria also shared birthday messages publicly along with Romeo.

Brooklyn was said to have been infuriated by the posts. “Brooklyn and (his wife Nicola Peltz) are disheartened they chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

“These are the exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.”

David Beckham shared two childhood photographs of Brooklyn online using his son’s longtime nickname Bust.

“27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x,” the former England footballer captioned the snaps.

Minutes later Victoria posted the same image as her husband, alongside a second photograph of herself laughing with her son. “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” she wrote.

The messages came as Brooklyn Beckham’s wife Nicola Peltz thanked friends who came to her husband’s “special” birthday celebrations.

The Lola actor and director shared a selection of photos featuring images of the festivities she had arranged for Beckham’s 27th birthday the day before.

The images included a photo of Peltz and Beckham kissing, as well as another of them posing together, and a selfie Nicola took with friends Anthony Barillo and Alessandro Morelli.

“Last night was so special ... Thank you to everyone who came and made it so perfect. we all love you so much Brooklyn!”

Brooklyn replied in the comments: “My sexy little pepper xx.”

On Brooklyn’s actual birthday, Peltz, 31, had shared a video of him blowing the candles out on a special set of birthday doughnuts, and shared a heartfelt message to the wannabe chef.

“Happy birthday baby ... I hope all your dreams and wishes come true! You light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you ... You’re the most special human and I love being your wife.

“I love you I love you I love you.”

Brooklyn commented: “My baby girl.”
