David and Victoria Beckham have been dealt another emotional blow, as son Brooklyn reportedly snubbed his entire family in a speech while he renewed his vows to wife Nicola Peltz.

The ceremony, which was held on August 2, initially stirred controversy after it was revealed that not a single member of the Beckham family was invited.

A source close to the family described the decision to keep the Beckhams off the 200-person guest list as “final kick in the teeth” for David and Victoria, who only discovered the vow renewal had taken place after reading about it online.

The intimate event took place at the Westchester estate of Nicola’s father, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, who presided over the ceremony himself.

It has since come to light that Brooklyn delivered a heartfelt speech at the ceremony, in which he only acknowledged Nicola’s family.

A source close to the couple told The Mirror: “He spoke from the heart - and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.”

It’s understood there was no similar tribute to his own parents.

While a representative for the couple said the ceremony created a “memory that will stay with them forever,” the Beckham clan reportedly questioned the need for the couple to renew their vows just after three years.

A source close to the family told The Sun: “They would understand if it was, say, 10 years down the line - maybe even five. But three?! It seems like quite a gratuitous display of obscene wealth. Also, if Brooklyn wanted to create a really cute memory, why couldn’t he have just let his family know their plans first?

“Of course David and Victoria want Brooklyn to be happy and clearly he is wildly in love still, but a lot of people have been hurt. It is a very sad situation and everyone fears there is no way back now. It is done.”

In new photos shared by the young couple on social media, they are surrounded by Nicola’s family and friends.
