Perth-raised Hollywood actress Isla Fisher has revealed her former co-star Matthew McConaughey does “a better Australian accent” than her, despite the Aussie’s obvious advantages.

Appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live alongside host Andy Cohen and filmmaker Judd Apatow, the Now You See Me: Now You Don’t star was asked for off-the-cuff “complaints” she had about various cast mates over the years.

Labelling her film husband from 2019 flick The Beachbum as a “ledge” — Aussie slang for “legend” — Fisher suggested she was envious of the Oscar winner’s ability to slip into her native tongue so smoothly.

“My only complaint about McConnix (McConaughey) is that he does a better Australian accent than me,” she admitted.

“And he tells all these anecdotes that are hilarious, he’s very funny, in this Aussie accent, and I’m just a bit jelly (jealous).”

Reeled off further observations about her film buddies, Fisher lauded Leslie Mann’s ability to fit into a bikini as the actress’ husband Apatow listened in.

“She can wear a bikini better than anyone... I’m not talking about swimming costume, ladies, I’m talking a tiny, itty bitty bikini, and that woman is a supermodel,” Fisher said.

However, the Aussie left her most pointed remarks for long-time pal Woody Harrelson, who the 49-year-old said is rarely seen wearing shoes.

“He wears a flip flop or a slipper, I’m talking anytime, anyplace,” Fisher revealed.

Asked if his feet were clean, the actress responded: “I wouldn’t know, but sartorially questionable to be in a flip flop in a restaurant like Nobu, which he was last night.”

Beginning her acting journey in Australia in the late 80s and 90s, including a stint on Home and Away, Fisher is arguably best known for her roles in 2005’s Wedding Crashers, and 2009’s Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Sharing three children with British star Sacha Baron Cohen whom she married in 2010, the former couple’s divorce was finalised in July this year.
