She has always managed to keep her love life relatively private.

Now Florence Pugh, 28, has opened up about previous relationships – while confirming a new one, possibly with Peaky Blinders star Finn Cole.

The Dune star made her debut on the cover of British Vogue in a black Dolce and Gabbana dress.

She described how her work and fame brought down her romances with Charlie Gooch, 28, and Zach Braff, 49.

Asked if she was in a relationship, Ms Pugh said, “I am... We are figuring out what we actually are.”

The star was recently seen with Cole, also 28.

The Vogue shoot had Pugh pose in a number of retro-style settings including a Californian bungalow pool, vintage setee and even an art deco style kitchen, complete with Paisley patterned floor tiles.

She also is also shot in similarly 70s-style outfits such as a Ulla Johnson silk-mix gown, a coated silk-chiffon trench coat, a Burberry corduroy coat with faux-fur trim and leather belt and even a pleated dress and slip.

When asked by Vogue about doing magazine cover shoots, the Don’t Worry Darling star responded that it was “a muscle I’ve learnt to be all right at”.

“But I’m not a model. It’s portraying a completely different version of myself that I don’t necessarily believe in.

“You have to believe that you deserve to be in those pages being beautiful. But now I know what I want to show.

“There’s no insecurities about what I am anymore.”
