Halle Berry thought she had dodged menopause all together.

The 58-year-old former pageant queen told Marie Claire UK magazine said her ego convinced her that she’d outrun biology. Now says she’s no longer afraid of ageing.

“It’s an exciting time for a rebirth,” the Hollywood beauty says. “It’s not the time to pack it up.

“Age is just a number that they stick on us at birth,” says Berry, who experienced two natural births, firstly at 41 with daughter Nahla, and then a son, Maceo, at age 48.

“I have two baby daddies and three divorces under my belt,” she said. “As women, we get defined by it way more than men do and sometimes it can debilitate us. It can trick us into thinking what we’re supposed to do.”

A diabetic, she nixed sugar from her diet and her health regime includes vitamins, supplements, progesterone, testosterone, estriol, red light therapy, hot and cold therapy, and daily workouts.

The star of current Netflix hit series The Union says she now feels “better and stronger than I did in my 20s. I feel like I’m now at the pinnacle.”

“I’ve always known that I’ve been more than this face and more than this body. So when that starts to go, maybe for the first time in my life, people will focus on the other aspects of me that I think are way more interesting,” Berry says.

”It might feel good to have everybody look at you, but it’s always been a hollow win for me because I had nothing to do with how I came here looking.”
