Home and Away stars Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart engaged after Coogee Beach proposal
The pair play husband and wife on the show after getting married two years ago.
Home and Away stars James Stewart and Ada Nicodemou are taking the next step in their real-life relationship revealing they’re engaged after two years of dating.
Stewart, 50, dropped the knee for Nicodemou, 48, at Goldstein Reserve, near Coogee Beach in Sydney’s East, on Valentine’s weekend.

The scene drew applause from passers-by as Nicodemou fawned over the ring and tried to fan off tears.
Stewart then lifted his decade-long costar into the air as they shared a kiss and take their first leap towards what will no doubt be a fairytale wedding.
The happy couple then shared an image beaming after the proposal with Nicodemou showing off her dazzling diamond ring.
The social media post attracted a number of comments from current and former Home and Away stars and Australian celebrities.
“Oh my heart! So thrilled for both of you! Of course Jimmy proposed and you said yes ... on Valentines Day!” Lynne McGranger wrote.
“Excellent news! Wishing you guys every happiness always.”
“This is the most wonderful news!” Emily Symons said.
“Congratulations Ada and Jimmy, you deserve every happiness.”
Comedian and writer Olga Thompson said she was “so happy for you!”.
Nicodemou has played the role of Leah Patterson-Baker on Home and Away since 2000, appearing in more than 3100 episodes.
Stewart joined Home and Away in 2016 playing Justin Morgan who married Nicodemou’s character on the show in 2024 — the same year the couple announced they had began dating outside of the show.
Their chemistry bled onto the screen, leading to their characters’ romance being nominated for Best Soap Couple at the Digital Spy Reader Awards in 2025.
