Hugh Jackman: Aussie star spotted with partner Sutton Foster as rumours swirl about their relationship

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have been spotted amid claims their relationship has “hit a roadblock” after less than two years together.

The two stars made an appearance at a fundraiser for Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine on Monday night local time.

Hugh was dressed in a glossy brown satin suit and dark blue button up, while Sutton sported a plunging sparkly halter-neck dress.

It was reported the pair took to the theatre’s stage and performed an “unforgettable” duet, according to a post from the Playhouse’s Facebook account.

“(The duet marked) their very first live concert performance together since sharing the Broadway stage in The Music Man!,” the post said.

Hugh and Sutton were first reported together in 2024 after Hugh’s high-profile divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage.

The appearance comes as rumours swirl that the couple have “hit a roadblock” and are struggling to maintain “quality time together” thanks to Hugh’s intense schedule, according to the Daily Mail.

“Hugh’s a workaholic,” a source told the tabloid.

“(Sutton is) starting to understand how lonely Deb must have felt at times.”

Hugh is set to play Long John Silver in the upcoming Treasure Island Remake, after high-profile roles in The Death of Robin Hood and The Sheep Detectives.

Sutton also has a jam-packed schedule: apart from her own acting career, she’s also hosting a “once-in-a-lifetime” women’s wellness retreat in Massachusetts this weekend.

The 51-year-old is also raising her daughter Emily, nine, who she is co-parenting with ex-husband Ted Griffin.

“Sutton’s finding it hard to be by Hugh’s side at so many events and he invites her to every single one,” the source said.

“It’s not that she’s shy, but she’s busy with her own career and still has a young daughter to raise.

“Sadly, the biggest casualty of all is Hugh and Sutton finding quality time together – they’re like passing ships sometimes.”
