Hugh Jackman ‘in love’ with Broadway co-star Sutton Foster, who files for divorce amid romance rumours

Hugh Jackman has reportedly found new love with one of his Broadway co-stars a year after his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness.

Jackman is reportedly “in love” with Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster, who he starred alongside in The Music Man in 2022.

The pair were first linked in December 2023, when In Touch magazine reported the Wolverine actor was “romancing” Foster, who is also known for starring in the TV show Younger.

Now the rumour mill has been sent into overdrive after Foster filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin, on Tuesday.

Court records show the couple filed for divorce in the New York County Supreme Court on October 22, People magazine reports.

Foster, 49, and Griffin, 53, share a seven-year-old daughter, who they adopted in 2016.

The divorce has only added fuel to rumours that the two Broadway stars have found love off-stage after their lauded run in The Music Man.

Foster played Jackman’s leading lady in the show and were photographed together at events throughout 2022.

In September 2023, Jackman filed for divorce from Australian actress Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage.

At the time, Furness and Jackman released a joint statement announcing their split.

“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the statement read.

“Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

They share two adopted children, 24-year-old Oscar and 19-year-old Ava.

A number of sources have told Page Six Jackman, 56, and Foster are not only moving on together, but “in love”.

“They are 100 per cent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” a source said.

“They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge.”
