Hugh Jackman shows off ripped physique as he takes a dip at Bondi Beach

Hugh Jackman’s Sydney summer holiday is rolling on, with the home-grown Hollywood superstar seen enjoying a dip at Bondi Beach on Wednesday morning.

The actor has become somewhat of a regular sight around Bondi in Sydney’s east this week, after he was spotted with his rarely seen children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, having breakfast on Monday.

The sighting comes amid rumours that Jackman and former partner Deborra-Lee Furness’s divorce last year may be linked to his alleged affair with his former The Music Man co-star Sutton Foster.

It is unclear if Furness will be spending Christmas with the children and her now former partner.

The family are likely staying at Jackman’s $12 million Bondi penthouse, which he bought in 2015.

Speculation around the potential romance with Foster gained momentum with recent social media activity on Furness’s private Instagram account.

She “liked” a post from gossip blogger Tasha Lustig, who claimed Jackman had “run off with the mistress” and was planning a “soft launch” of the relationship with Foster, as reported by Us Weekly in November.

Adding fuel to the fire, Furness’s friend Amanda de Cadenet commented: “You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment, FYI!”

Jackman and Foster first connected in 2020 while workshopping The Music Man, which eventually opened on Broadway in February 2022.

According to insiders, the alleged affair was “Broadway’s worst-kept secret,” and reports from US Weekly suggest that the couple now wants to make their relationship public.

“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy,” a source close to Foster told the outlet.

Another source told the Daily Mail in October that Furness had “her suspicions” when Jackman began working with Foster, while an insider claims she was “blindsided” by the affair, learning about it only during the show’s run.

Jackman and Furness, who announced their separation in September 2023, released a joint statement at the time: “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.

“Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

News broke about Jackman’s rumoured new relationship with 49-year-old Foster in October, just two weeks after she filed for divorce from her own husband of 10 years.
